Hi, I’m Cassy Laessig!
​
I’ve been a freelance hair and makeup artist for over nine years, working in cities like Los Angeles, Minocqua, and Nashville. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping people feel their best - whether for weddings, film, photography, or special events. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

My passion for beauty and artistry started in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where I earned my Cosmetology certificate from Gogebic Community College. From there, I leveled up in Los Angeles, completing the Master Makeup Artistry Program at Makeup Designory. Over the years, my work has been featured in The New York Times alongside Jason Kelce, as well as in Bridal Musings, Shuba Mag, Green Wedding Shoes, La Belle Kidz Teen and Fashion, VoyageLA, Belle Meade Lifestyle, and my own project, Nashty Bride.

Some of my career highlights include being recognized as “One of Los Angeles’s Most Gifted Professionals” by VoyageLA and placing 2nd in the National Makeup Artist Championship at Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con. I’ve had the opportunity to do hair and makeup for the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders, work on music videos at the Grand Ole Opry, and check off a bucket-list goal - styling for my first Super Bowl commercial! My work has appeared on ESPN, CMT, Starz, Lifetime, and Amazon Video. Beyond that, I’ve collaborated with brands like Mitsubishi Motors, Tractor Supply, Ole Smoky Moonshine, Asurion, Mastercard, Apple Music, and iHeartMedia, with my work featured in promotional campaigns worldwide.

I’ve had the honor of working with over 200 brides (though I’ve honestly lost count!) and countless creatives, helping bring their visions to life. Currently, I split my time between Nashville, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and Northern Wisconsin, specializing in hair and makeup for weddings, film, photography, and special events.
